Very predictable result when Falcons won against Lions in Karlsruhe 80-74 on Saturday. Falcons made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. American point guard Thomas Wilder (190-1995, college: W.Michigan) notched 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and Sheldon Eberhardt (195-1995, college: Elon) supported him with 15 points and 5 assists. Falcons' coach Vytautas Buzas used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds by center Maurice Pluskota (209-1992, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Lions. American point guard Lovell Cabbil (188-1997, college: Liberty) added 17 points for the hosts. Four Lions players scored in double figures. Falcons will meet at home 46ers in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Lions will play against Gladiators and hope to win that game.
