The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Vaerlose (2-1) on the court of sixth ranked Randers on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Randers 79-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vaerlose. Randers looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Brandon Norfleet (196-1993, college: IUP, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 assists. The former international guard Jonathan Klussmann (190-2002) contributed with 20 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Randers players scored in double figures. Guard Adam Heede-Andersen (187-1996, college: St.Cloud St.) replied with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard Asbjorn Nerlov (195-1998) added 14 points in the effort for Vaerlose. Vaerlose's coach Mathias Madsen rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Randers moved-up to third place, which they share with Bakken and Vaerlose. Randers is looking forward to face league's leader Naestved on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vaerlose will play against Svendborg and is hoping to win this game.
