Regular Season Round 2: Tuebingen - Schwenningen 102-73
Date: October 8, 2022
No shocking result in a game when Tigers crushed Schwenningen in Tuebingen 102-73 on Saturday. Tigers outrebounded Schwenningen 40-22 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Schwenningen's players. American Zac Seljaas (203-1997, college: BYU) notched 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and naturalized Croatian Mateo Seric (204-1999) supported him with 14 points and 4 assists. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. Even 12 points by American point guard Casey Benson (191-1995, college: GCU) did not help to save the game for Schwenningen. Badu Buck (195-1999) added 9 points and 5 assists for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tigers will meet Leverkusen on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Schwenningen will play against Uni Baskets and hope to win that game.
