Dacka used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Denizl 93-80 on Sunday night. Dacka looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was international point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-1996) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 assists. British center Gabriel Olaseni (211-1991, college: Iowa) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Dacka's coach Selcuk Ernak allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Israeli-American guard Max Heidegger (191-1997, college: UCSB) produced 21 points and 7 assists and Greek swingman Nikolaos Rogkavopoulos (203-2001) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dacka's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Istanbul to the arena Efes.
