Regular Season Round 3: Braunschweig - Ludwigsburg 66-80

Everything went according to plan when EnBW Ludwigsburg (2-1) defeated on the road Braunschweig (0-2) 80-66 on Sunday. EnBW Ludwigsburg forced 21 Braunschweig turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Isaiah Whitehead (191-1995, college: Seton Hall) who led the winners and scored 17 points. His fellow American import Justin Johnson (200-1996, college: WKU) accounted for 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Four EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. The former international David Kramer (198-1997) came up with 18 points and American point guard Braydon Hobbs (196-1989, college: Bellarmine) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Braunschweig in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. EnBW Ludwigsburg will meet at home Brose Bamberg (#16) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Braunschweig will play against Telekom Baskets and hopes to get finally their first victory.
