Regular Season Round 1: TED Ankara - Mamak 89-82

There was a surprise result when TED Ankara beat at home Mamak 89-82 on Sunday. The game was dominated by American players. Point guard Ricky Tarrant (188-1993, college: Memphis) stepped up and scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) chipped in 18 points and 11 rebounds. Four TED Ankara players scored in double figures. At the losing side Carlton Bragg Jr. (208-1995, college: N.Mexico) responded with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and point guard Myles Mack (178-1993, college: Rutgers) scored 11 points and 6 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. TED Ankara will meet Yalovaspor on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mamak will play against Antalya and hope to win that game.
