There was a small surprise when Manisa (1-2) beat at home Urla (1-2) 70-58 on Sunday. Manisa forced 24 Urla turnovers. The best player for the winners was Dilek Topdemir (-1992) who scored 12 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Deniz Sanli (176-1994) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Four Manisa players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Revaziye Donmez (-1988) who recorded 17 points and 8 rebounds and Ozlem Yenidunya (183-1996) added 7 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Manisa will meet Antalya (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Urla's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Izmir Karsiyaka.
