Regular Season Round 5: Amager - BAC 67-87

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Amager's (1-4) home loss to eighth ranked BAC (2-2) 67-87 on Saturday. BAC forced 19 Amager turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Keane Thomann (211-1989, college: MSSU) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Marius Kirkholt (193-1997) chipped in 11 points and 4 assists. Four BAC players scored in double figures. Forward Tomas Bjarkason (204-1999, college: Lewis) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Jordan Johnson (198-1998, college: Concordia, WI) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BAC moved-up to sixth place. Amager lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. BAC will meet at home Svendborg (#9) in the next round. Amager will play against Herlev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
