Regular Season Round 4: Silute - Stekas 71-56

The game between Top Four teams took place in Silute. Third ranked host Silute (3-1) defeated one of their biggest challengers Stekas (2-2) 71-56. They outrebounded Stekas 43-27 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian guard Jalen Warren (188-1999, college: UIC) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds and Edgaras Preibys (203-2002) who added 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side point guard Paulius Semaska (184-1993) responded with 14 points and 6 assists and Gediminas Povilauskas (195-1992) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Silute maintains third position with 3-1 record behind leader Telsiai, which they share with Suduva-Mantinga. Newly promoted Stekas dropped to the seventh place with two games lost. Silute is looking forward to face Vytis (#5) in Sakiai in the next round. Stekas will play on the road against the league's leader Telsiai in Telsiu and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
