Regular Season Round 3: Artland - Dresden 82-84

Not a big story in a game in Quakenbrueck where Artland Dragons (0-3) were edged by Titans (2-1) 84-82 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was center Georg Voigtmann (213-1994) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). American Chase Adams (176-1988, college: Pittsburgh) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Titans players scored in double figures. Titans' coach Fabian Strauss used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard William Christmas (196-1996, college: CPP) who recorded 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Croatian center Marko Bacak (210-1995) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Titans will meet at home 46ers (#4) in the next round. Artland Dragons will play against Gladiators (#18) in Trier and hope to get finally their first victory.
