Regular Season Round 3: Kapfenberg - UBSC Graz 79-81

No shocking result in a game when UBSC Graz (3-0) edged on the road Kapfenberg Bulls (0-3) 81-79 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-14. But Kapfenberg Bulls won second period 23-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American point guard Zach Cooks (175, college: Hofstra) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points. His fellow American import forward Tanner Giddings (208-1994, college: Chico St.) helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian forward Nemanja Krstic (205-1993) with 24 points and 4 assists and British guard Amin Adamu (196-1997, college: Montana St.) scored 24 points. UBSC Graz will meet at home Nord Dragonz (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kapfenberg Bulls will play against Gmunden Swans and hope to get finally their first victory.
