Very expected game in Denizl where Merkezefendi (0-3) was defeated by Bursaspor (3-0) 68-56 on Saturday. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Onuralp Bitim (196-1999) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points and 9 rebounds. Jordanian center Ahmad Al-Dwairi (209-1993) helped adding 9 points and 17 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Polish forward Tomasz Gielo (205-1993, college: Ole Miss) with 17 points and Israeli-American guard Max Heidegger (191-1997, college: UCSB) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Merkezefendi's coach Zafer Aktas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bursaspor will meet at home Efes in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Merkezefendi will play against Acibadem (#9) in Istanbul and hopes to get finally their first victory.
