Very predictable result in Diedorf where Kangaroos (2-1) defeated Skyliners II (0-3) 76-70 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Kangaroos forced 21 Skyliners II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American Teathloach Pal (206-1997, college: Sioux Falls) who scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Slovenian center Nemanja Scekic (207-2000) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Jordan Samare (202-2002) who recorded 22 points and 8 rebounds and Alexander Richardson (205-2003) added 16 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively. Skyliners II's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kangaroos will meet Loewen (#4) in the next round. Skyliners II will have a break next round.
