An interesting game was also a 20-point tough home defeat of 7th ranked Hamm in a game versus ETB Miners (#5) 94-74. ETB Miners outrebounded Hamm 50-30 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Devin Peterson (185, college: WCU) nailed 18 points and 6 assists for the winning side and American-Irish guard Patrick Carney (185-1985, college: Chapman) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. American guard John Murry (192-1995, college: Austin Peay) came up with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Kevin Kollmar (189-2002) added 16 points respectively for Hamm in the defeat. Five ETB Miners and four Hamm players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ETB Miners have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place in West, which they share with Wulfen and Loewen. Loser Hamm dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. ETB Miners will meet Aachen (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Hamm will play against Koeln DTV (#14) and hope to secure a win.
