Rilski defeated Balkan in Samokov 89-83. It was a great shooting night for Rilski especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Brandon Randolph (187-1995, college: Utah Valley) scored 17 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Demajeo Wiggins (208-1997, college: BGSU) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. The former international Pavlin Ivanov (195-1993, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 22 points and American-Jamaican point guard Ryan Harrow (188-1991, college: Georgia St.) scored 14 points and 8 assists. Five Rilski and four Balkan players scored in double figures. Balkan's coach Toni Dechev rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Balkan will play next round against Levski trying to get back on the winning streak. Rilski will try to continue on its current victory against CSKA in Sofia.
