Very important is a road loss of third ranked Lietkabelis (3-2) against ninth ranked Juventus (2-3) on Saturday night. Visiting Lietkabelis was edged by Juventus in a tough game in Utena 84-87. Juventus forced 22 Lietkabelis turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Lietkabelis was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Justin Alston (203-1994, college: Boston U.) nailed 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import point guard Jawun Evans (185-1996, college: OK State) accounted for 14 points and 6 assists. Five Juventus players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Juventus moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Nevezis and P.Zvaigzdes. Juventus will play against league's leader Jonava on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
