Tofas used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Acibadem 97-96 on Sunday night. Tofas looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Guard Ozgur Cengiz (177-2005) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 assists for the winners and guard Can Cevikel (189-2005) chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side Halim Altin (-2004) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and guard Yagiz Aktas (198-2006) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tofas will meet Antalya Gelism on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bahcesehir will play against Fenerbahce in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
