There was a minor upset in Nuernberg where Falcons (2-1) were defeated by 46ers (2-1) 75-63 on Sunday. 46ers forced 20 Falcons turnovers. The best player for the winners was Serbian forward Stefan Fundic (200-1994, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Naturalized Cameroonian Roland Nyama (198-1993, college: Stony Brook) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was center Moritz Krimmer (202-2000) who recorded 12 points and Sheldon Eberhardt (195-1995, college: Elon) added 8 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. 46ers will meet Titans (#6) in the next round. Falcons will play against Tigers in Tuebingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
