There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Palanga (2-3) defeated on the road higher ranked Kretinga (2-2) 68-55 on Thursday. American point guard Reggie Clark (178-1998, college: RWC) stepped up and scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and point guard Ernestas Jaskus (195-2000) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Palanga players scored in double figures. Palanga's coach Povilas Sakinis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Raidas Nacius (197-1991) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Martynas Mazeika (193-1985, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds.
