Horsens IC (4-1) recorded its first loss in Aarhus on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by fifth ranked Bakken (3-1) 94-74. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Horsens IC. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was Sudanese-Australian forward Deng Adel (201-1997, college: Louisville, agency: Verus Management) who scored 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Ryan Evans (202-1990, college: Wisconsin) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Chris Lykes (170-1998, college: Arkansas, agency: Green Sports Management) who recorded 29 points and 4 assists and international forward Frederik Rungby (199-1991) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Horsens IC at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. Bakken are looking forward to face Herlev (#6) at home in the next round. Horsens IC will play against the league's leader Naestved (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
