Very expected game when 7th ranked Stekas (2-4) lost to top-ranked Zalgiris II (6-0) in Vilnius 67-80 on Saturday. Zalgiris II outrebounded Stekas 34-16 including a 24-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. Liutauras Lelevicius (201-2003) notched 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and center Motiejus Krivas (214-2004) supported him with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Zalgiris II players scored in double figures. Even 20 points by forward Karolis Brusokas (202-1991) did not help to save the game for Stekas. Point guard Paulius Semaska (184-1993) added 9 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Zalgiris II have an impressive six-game winning streak.
