Regular Season Round 2: Besiktas - Darussafaka 67-60

Besiktas used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Istanbul 67-60 on Monday night. Point guard Yagiz Aksu (195-2006) notched 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Ata Engin (-2004) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Besiktas' coach Recep Mermerci used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds by Ilker Kale (-2004) did not help to save the game for Darussafaka. Forward Ege Akcay (198-2006) added 12 points for the guests. Besiktas will meet at home Tesvikiye in the next round. Darussafaka will play against Merkezefendi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
