Undefeated leader BBU delivered the fourth consecutive victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Towers (0-4) 104-61 in Salzburg. The game without a history. BBU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Towers' 26. BBU forced 24 Towers turnovers and outrebounded them 44-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Towers' players. Worth to mention a quality performance of forward Drew Koka (196-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and guard Adrian Mitchell (189-1995) who added 18 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four BBU players scored in double figures. BBU's coach Christian Ponz felt very confident that he used entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Israeli-Italian guard Itai Fadlon (191-1999) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and Lithuanian guard Kasparas Berenis (193-1999) scored 20 points and 4 assists. BBU have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Mustangs and Blackbirds. Loser Towers still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. BBU will meet Raiders Tirol (#5) in the next round. Towers will play against Worthersee Piraten (#7) and hope to get finally their first victory.
