Regular Season Round 4: Mamak - OGM Orman 71-70

Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Ankara: Mamak and OGM Orman (#8). Despite it looked like an easy game for Mamak, those rules do not exist in derby games. It's more the case of honor for local supporters and such games have that special and unique approach you cannot find in other games. How else can you describe just 1 point victory of Mamak 71-70. Worth to mention a great performance of American Carlton Bragg Jr (208-1995, college: N.Mexico) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import point guard Myles Mack (178-1993, college: Rutgers) who added 9 points and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Utku Yucedag (198-1994) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Cameroonian forward Benoit Mbala (200-1995) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Mamak went down to eighth position due to points difference, which they share with OGM Orman and Balikesir. Mamak will meet Haremspor (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. OGM Orman will play against Cagdas BS (#3) in Mugla and hope to secure a win.
