Regular Season Round 3: Alytaus - VK-Kamane 150-51

The game with biggest result difference took place in Alytaus. Local Alytaus (2-1) outscored VK-Kamane (0-3) 150-51 on Saturday night. Alytaus dominated down low during the game scoring 114 of its points in the paint compared to VK-Kamane's 10 and had 21 for 29 from the free-throw line, while VK-Kamane only scored five points from the stripe. Alytaus forced 27 VK-Kamane turnovers and outrebounded them 57-14 including a 24-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kristina Masionyte (180-2000) helped adding 27 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Five Alytaus players scored in double figures. Alytaus' coach Kristina Griziene felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Olga Fomina (164-1989) with 26 points and forward Ieva Garnyte (175-1992) scored 15 points. Alytaus will meet at home 7bet Vilnius (#4) in the next round. VK-Kamane will play against Vilniaus DPV (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
