Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Potsdam RH and 9th ranked Oldenburger TB had identical 1-4 record. But Oldenburger TB was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Potsdam 73-59 on Saturday night. Potsdam RH forced 19 Oldenburger TB turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for guard Gideon Steffen (185-1998) who led the winners and scored 14 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Power forward Joshua Lubken (209-2000) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. Andre Galler (195-1992) came up with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Marcello Schroeder (201-1987) added 13 points respectively for Oldenburger TB in the defeat. Oldenburger TB's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Potsdam RH (2-4) moved-up to eighth place. Oldenburger TB at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Wusterhausen and Wuerzburg Ak.. Potsdam RH will meet at home WSG Koenigs (#12) in the next round. Oldenburger TB will play against Bargteheide (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
