Everything could happen in Ljubljana at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Jezica and 11th ranked Postojna had identical 1-3 record. This time Jezica used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Postojna 72-59 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Jezica. Postojna managed to win fourth quarter 23-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Jezica forced 19 Postojna turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Matic Vesel (206-1998, college: Illinois) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Alen Zulic (192-2004) chipped in 21 points and 6 assists. Forward Miha Kodric (196-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Peter Meze (183-2001) added 3 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jezica (2-3) moved-up to ninth place. Postojna lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with four games lost. Jezica will meet bottom-ranked Celje (#12) on the road in the next round. Postojna will play against Portoroz and hope to win that game.
