Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Schwelm (1-4) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Vechta-2 (3-1) 89-81 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Vechta-2 made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American guard JJ Culver (193-1997, college: WBU) who scored 30 points. Point guard Kevin Smit (182-1991) chipped in 22 points and 6 assists. Culver is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
