No shocking result in a game when Galomar (3-0) beat at home Vasco (1-2) 93-76 on Saturday. Galomar shot 60.3 percent from the field. It was an exceptional evening for American forward William Loyd (196-1998, college: Xavier, LA) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). His fellow American import point guard DeAndre Jones (180, college: St.Louis) accounted for 19 points for the winning side. Four Galomar players scored in double figures. Galomar's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Joao Torrie (200-1991) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and American center Jaja Davis (196, college: Montreat) added 15 points respectively for Vasco in the defeat. Galomar will meet Illiabum (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Vasco will play against Maia Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
