TKBL top team - Tarsus (7-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Diba Ankara (1-6) in Mersin 81-55. Tarsus looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Sasha Goodlett (195-1990, college: Georgia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Nihal Yildirim (-1990) contributed with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Tarsus players scored in double figures. DR Congolese center Mireille Muganza (185-1990) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and guard Melis Ucar (178-1996, college: Liberty) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Diba Ankara. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tarsus have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Diba Ankara lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth position with six games lost. They share it with Yalova Vip.
