Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Mersin and 7th ranked Bursa had identical 2-1 record. This time Mersin used a home court advantage and outscored the opponent from Bursa 92-69 on Sunday night. They outrebounded Bursa 34-19 including 25 on the defensive glass. Mersin looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of North Macedonian-American guard DeWanna Bonner (193-1987, college: Auburn) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Bahamas-Bosnian center Jonquel Jones (198-1994, college: GWU) who added 9 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest.
