Everything could happen in Izmir at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Elazig Karabulut and 9th ranked Urla had identical 3-4 record. But Urla was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Elazig 69-52 on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was American guard Ameryst Alston (175-1993, college: Ohio St.) who scored 28 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Dilara Gocmen chipped in 14 points. Elazig Karabulut's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
