Important game to mention about took place in Albufeira. Fourth ranked Ovarense (6-2) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked Imortal (2-5) 66-65 on Saturday evening. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by forward Brandon Peel (201-1994, college: CCSU) who scored that evening 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Davell Roby (195-1996, college: St.Louis) supported him with 16 points. Even 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Marquise Moore (188-1994, college: GMU) did not help to save the game for Imortal. Guard Spencer Littleson (193-1998, college: Toledo) added 16 points for the hosts. Four Imortal players scored in double figures. Imortal's coach Luis Modesto tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Ovarense maintains fourth position with 6-2 record. Imortal at the other side dropped to the ninth place with five games lost. Ovarense will play against Lusitania (#7) in Angra in the next round. Imortal will play at home against Oliveirense and hopes to get back on the winning track.
