No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Koblenz (6-0) smashed on the road 3rd ranked Deisenhofen (4-2) 106-77 on Sunday. They outrebounded Deisenhofen 47-23 including a 19-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. American point guard Alani Moore II (178-1998, college: Temple) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Moses Poelking (206-1997) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was naturalized American Omari Knox (185-1986, college: Bloomfield) with 16 points and 4 assists and Janosch Koegler (190-1993) scored 17 points. Five Koblenz and four Deisenhofen players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Koblenz have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Loser Deisenhofen keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Wolmirstedt and TKS 49ers. Koblenz will meet at home Ludwigsburg (#13) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Deisenhofen will play against Skyliners II (#7) and hope to secure a win.
