An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Erfurt. Top-ranked White Wings faced 4th ranked Loewen. Guests from Hanau (5-0) defeated host Loewen (3-3) 103-98. White Wings shot 34 for 48 from the free-throw line, while Loewen only scored eighteen points from the stripe. White Wings forced 22 Loewen turnovers and outrebounded them 45-34 including 33 on the defensive glass. Point guard Sebastian Brach (190-2002) scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American center Bubba Furlong (206-1999, college: NWOSU) chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. White Wings' coach Marti Zamora-Mas used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was center Noah Kamdem (198-1998) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and American Tyseem Lyles (185-1992, college: Mercy) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Five White Wings and four Loewen players scored in double figures. White Wings have an impressive five-game winning streak.
