Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked CDEFF and 11th ranked Vagos had identical 1-6 record. But Vagos were not able to use a home court advantage and were edged by the opponent from Lisbon 52-50 on Sunday night. CDEFF forced 20 Vagos turnovers. The winners were led by forward Dilma Semedo (176-2001) who scored that evening 17 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Akila Smith (185-2000, college: Longwood) supported her with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Even 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists by the former international forward Joana Canastra (174-1994) did not help to save the game for Vagos.
