Regular Season Round 7: Triglav - Domzale 94-29

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Triglav (4-3) crushed bottom-ranked Domzale (1-6) in Kranj 94-29 on Saturday. The game without a history. Triglav led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Domzale to just 6 points in first and fourth quarters and to 14 points in second half. Triglav held Domzale to an opponent 20.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 48.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Triglav forced 24 Domzale turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Domzale's players. It was an exceptional evening for forward Manca Vrecer (178-2002) who led the winners and scored 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Ajda Burgar (177-2001) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winning side. Four Triglav players scored in double figures. Swingman Katja Sever (177-2003) came up with 7 points and forward Dasa Milinovic (180-2002) added 7 points respectively for Domzale in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Triglav. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Jezica. Loser Domzale dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. Triglav will meet Konjice (#7) on the road in the next round. Domzale will play against Jezica and hope to win that game.
