Vilniaus DPV's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat VK-Kamane (0-5) 74-54 on Saturday. Vilniaus DPV held VK-Kamane to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.1 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded VK-Kamane 65-28 including a 27-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by guard Kamile Ziedelyte (176-2000) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and forward Brigita Kleponyte (177-1999) supported her with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Even 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by point guard Olga Fomina (164-1989) did not help to save the game for VK-Kamane. Guard Saule Smilgeviciute (173-2003) added 7 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Vilniaus DPV (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eighth place. It was VK-Kamane's fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
