Regular Season Round 3: KIVS SBK - Blyskavky 38-80

There was no surprise in Lviv where KIVS SBK (0-2) was crushed by Blyskavky (4-2) 80-38 on Saturday. The game without a history. Blyskavky led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding KIVS SBK to just 3 points in third quarter. Blyskavky held KIVS SBK to an opponent 16.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 51.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Blyskavky forced 23 KIVS SBK turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Blyskavky especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. It was a great evening for guard Victoria Ogiy (170-1995) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points, 7 assists and 6 steals. Forward Violetta Ostapchuk (170-2005) helped adding 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Blyskavky players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Elizaveta Vodovoz (174-2003) with 14 points and 6 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and swingman Katerina Shtyk (175-2003) scored 10 points and 4 assists. KIVS SBK's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
