Regular Season Round 6: Future Team - Raiders 64-95

Bottom-ranked Future Team (0-5) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to fourth ranked Raiders Tirol (5-1) 95-64. The game was mostly controlled by Raiders Tirol. Future Team was better in fourth quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Future Team to just 6 points in first quarter. Raiders Tirol forced 26 Future Team turnovers. Slovenian forward Gasper Rojko (200-1996) notched a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals to lead the effort and Slovenian guard Jernej Ledl (195-1997) supported him with 31 points and 4 assists. Even 13 points by point guard David Mlekusch (183-2003) did not help to save the game for Future Team. Guard Valentin Siegmund (195-2003) added 14 points. Future Team's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Raiders Tirol have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Mustangs and BBU Salzburg. Future Team at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Rocks. Raiders Tirol will play against Towers (#9) in Kufstein in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Future Team will play on the road against Mustangs in Mistelbach and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
