Regular Season Round 6: KOS - BBU Salzburg 84-88

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked KOS's (3-3) home loss to fourth ranked BBU (5-1) 84-88 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KOS won fourth quarter 21-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward Drew Koka (196-1998) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Adrian Mitchell (189-1995) chipped in 21 points. Four BBU players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Slovenian forward Andrej Blazevic (195-2002) who recorded 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Slovenian point guard Grega Sajevic (187-1996) added 20 points respectively. BBU moved-up to second place, which they share with Mustangs and Raiders. KOS lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. BBU will meet at home Rocks (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. KOS will play against Ballers (#14) and hope to secure a win.
