Very predictable result in Botevgrad where second ranked Balkan 2 (6-2) beat 11th ranked Spartak S. (2-6) 67-57 on Wednesday. Balkan 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak S.'s 20. Balkan 2 forced 24 Spartak S. turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Forward Mihail Gavazov (197-2004) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and guard Velizar Georgiev (187-2006) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Daniel Delev (-2004) with 9 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Hristo Todorov (184-2004) scored 11 points.
