Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Skyliners II (2-4) lost on the road to third ranked Deisenhofen (5-2) 72-62 on Saturday. Deisenhofen held Skyliners II to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.4 percent accuracy of the winners. It was an exceptional evening for Joerg Dippold (194-1992) who led the winners and scored 24 points. Antoine Buchmann (202-2000, college: Stonehill) accounted for 12 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Deisenhofen's coach Mario Matic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Alvin-Olebabe Onyia (181-2000) came up with 10 points and 4 assists and Nils Leonhardt (197-2000) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Skyliners II in the defeat. Deisenhofen maintains third place with 5-2 record having just two point less than leader Koblenz, which they share with TKS 49ers.
