There was a minor upset in Vilnius where 9th ranked Stekas (5-7) was defeated by eleventh ranked Delikatesas (5-8) 82-75 on Saturday. Delikatesas made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. American Darion Rackley (187-1992, college: JSU) scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and Sarunas Kulevicius (193-1989) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Swingman Tadas Rinkunas (195-1991) responded with 26 points and point guard Augustas Suliauskas (180-1995, agency: Players Group) scored 8 points and 9 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Delikatesas have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Mazeikiai. Newly promoted Stekas dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Kretinga. Delikatesas will meet at home higher ranked Vytis (#5) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Stekas will play against Mazeikiai and hope to secure a win.
