Regular Season Round 7: Gemlik - Cagdas BS 51-68

Leader Cagdas BS delivered the sixth victory. This time they beat 13th ranked Gemlik (1-6) 68-51 in Bursa. Cagdas BS players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Erkan Veyseloglu (200-1983) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 5 rebounds. Hakan Yapar (202-1984) contributed with 9 points and 4 assists for the winners. Batin Tuna (197-2003) answered with 10 points and the former international forward Osman Sirin (207-1990, college: Charlotte) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Gemlik. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Cagdas BS. Newly promoted Cagdas BS maintains first place with 6-1 record, which they share with Samsunspor and Mersin. Gemlik lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. They share it with Antalya.
