There was a small surprise in Istanbul where twelfth ranked Diba Ankara (4-7) edged 10th ranked Emlak 2 (4-7) 65-62 on Friday. The best player for the winners was DR Congolese center Mireille Muganza (185-1990) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Cansu Cankurt (170-1990) chipped in 5 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Eda Balkan (-2004) produced 23 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Berfin Sertoglu (171-2004) added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Diba Ankara. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Antalya and Emlak 2. Emlak 2 lost their third game in a row. Diba Ankara's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Ankara Botas GA.
