An interesting game for Mersin (7-1) which played road game in Bursa against 4th ranked Final Spor (5-3). Second ranked Mersin had an easy win 87-70. The winners were led by American guard Tobin Carberry (193-1991, college: LIU Post) who scored that evening 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Kerem Ozel (183-1997) supported him with 16 points. Carberry is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Mersin's coach Semih Soguksu used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 18 points and 6 rebounds by center Tarik Sezgun (208-2001, agency: BeoBasket) did not help to save the game for Final Spor.
