Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Giessen Pointers (0-6) were rolled over at home by ninth ranked RheinStars (4-4) 102-63 on Saturday. RheinStars dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Giessen Pointers' 34. RheinStars forced 19 Giessen Pointers turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Rupert Hennen (184-1997) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Canadian point guard Ali Sow (185-1998, college: Laurier) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five RheinStars players scored in double figures.
