Very predictable result when sixth ranked Phoenix Hagen (6-3) defeated at home 12th ranked Duesseldorf (4-5) 109-100 on Saturday. Phoenix Hagen dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Duesseldorf's 36 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Phoenix Hagen looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was American JJ Mann (198-1991, college: Belmont, agency: GoEmpire Group) who scored 29 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import guard Kyle Castlin (193-1996, college: Xavier) chipped in 25 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian guard Ryan Richmond (183-1996, college: Bentley) who recorded 19 points and 5 assists and American guard Booker Coplin (191-1997, college: Augsburg) added 17 points respectively.
