Undefeated Telekom Baskets (6-1) recorded its first loss on the court of fourth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by EnBW Ludwigsburg 84-80. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Telekom Baskets. Strangely Telekom Baskets outrebounded EnBW Ludwigsburg 34-17 including a 21-8 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Prentiss Hubb (190-1999, college: Notre Dame, agency: Green Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 assists and the other American import Shonn Miller (201-1993, college: UConn) who added 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. American-North Macedonian point guard TJ Shorts (175-1997, college: UC Davis) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American Jeremy Morgan (196-1995, college: UNI) scored 21 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). EnBW Ludwigsburg maintains fourth position with 6-2 record, which they share with Oldenburg. Loser Telekom Baskets keep the second place with one game lost. They share the position with ALBA. EnBW Ludwigsburg will meet at home BG Goettingen (#6) in the next round. Telekom Baskets will play against the league's leader Bayern Muenchen (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
